InLine DVI-A kabel 12+5 samec / 15 Pin HD samec VGA 5 m

The InLine DVI-A Cable 12+5 male / 15 Pin HD male VGA 5m connects devices with an analogue DVI-A video interface to PCs or notebooks that provide a VGA (15-pin HD) output. With a 5 m black cable and ferrite shielding ring, it is intended to transmit analogue video signals reliably between compatible display equipment and video sources.

Advantages

This cable features DVI-A 12+5 male connectors and a 15-pin HD male VGA connector to ensure compatibility between DVI-A devices and VGA outputs. The 5 m length provides flexibility for installations where the display is separated from the video source. A ferrite shielding ring reduces electromagnetic interference for a more stable analogue signal. The cable’s construction and connectors are designed for long-lasting use in typical monitor and projector setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting analogue DVI-A equipped devices (graphics cards, video sources) to VGA monitors
• Linking DVI-A outputs to projectors with VGA input
• Extending reach between PC/notebook VGA output and DVI-A display devices within a 5 m distance

How to use

Power off both devices before connecting. Insert the DVI-A 12+5 male connector into the device with the analogue DVI-A port and secure the screws. Insert the 15-pin HD male VGA connector into the PC or notebook VGA output and tighten the thumbscrews. Power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the display. If the display does not show an image, verify that both devices support analogue DVI-A signalling and that connections are secure.

Recommendations

Use this cable only for analogue video signals; it does not carry digital DVI-D or HDMI signals. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling on the cable to preserve shielding and connector integrity. For long-term installations, ensure connectors are secure and check compatibility of source and display for analogue DVI-A support.
