InLine adaptérový kabel USB na sériový port USB Type-A samec / DB9 samec cca 0,2m

The InLine 33304 USB to Serial Adapter Cable converts a USB Type-A port to a DB-9 (RS-232) serial connection. At approximately 0.2 m long, the cable features a USB Type-A male connector on one end and a DB-9 male connector on the other, with a blue transparent jacket that allows visual inspection of the cable. It is intended for connecting legacy serial devices such as mice, modems and other RS-232 equipment to modern computers with USB ports.

Advantages

This adapter provides a compact and convenient way to link DB-9 serial devices to USB ports without requiring internal cards. The short 0.2 m length reduces cable clutter and the visible blue transparent housing helps identify the cable and inspect its condition. The standardized USB Type-A and DB-9 male connectors ensure compatibility with common ports and serial equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting serial mice and pointing devices
• Linking external modems to USB-equipped computers
• Connecting RS-232 industrial or measurement equipment
• Temporary console access to network or embedded devices

How to use

Plug the USB Type-A male connector into an available USB port on your computer. Connect the DB-9 male connector to the serial device's female DB-9 port. After connection and driver installation, configure the serial communication parameters (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits) in your application or device settings.

Recommendations

Use this short adapter cable for close-proximity connections to avoid strain on ports; for longer distances, choose a longer shielded serial cable or a USB-to-serial adapter with an integrated longer cable. Ensure drivers are compatible with your OS and verify serial settings match the connected device.
