InfiniBand/optický kabel BlueOptics XDACBL3M 3 m SFP+

The BlueOptics XDACBL3M 3 m SFP+ InfiniBand/fibre optic cable is engineered for high-speed data transfer between SFP+ ports in networking equipment. With a 3 metre length and SFP+ connectors on both ends, this fibre optic cable supports reliable, low-latency links required in data center topologies and high-performance computing environments. The product is intended for short to medium reach connections where optical transmission and immunity to electromagnetic interference are essential.

Advantages

This BlueOptics cable provides stable optical performance with minimal signal loss over its 3 m length. The SFP+ terminated ends ensure straightforward compatibility with SFP+ ports on switches, servers and host bus adapters, enabling hot-pluggable installation. The fibre medium offers resistance to electromagnetic interference and maintains consistent throughput for latency-sensitive applications.

How to use

Check compatibility of SFP+ ports on both devices before installation. Ensure both ports support the same optical parameters and transceiver types where applicable. With equipment powered down or in accordance with your hot-swap procedures, insert each SFP+ connector firmly into the corresponding SFP+ socket until it clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; secure it with cable management to prevent accidental disconnection. Verify link status and negotiate appropriate link speed and duplex settings in the connected devices' management interfaces.

Recommendations

Use this fibre optic cable for short to medium reach connections within data centers and server rooms. Avoid tight bends and exposure to excessive tensile force. Store spare cables in protective covers to preserve connector end-face cleanliness and inspect end faces for contamination before insertion to maintain optimal optical performance.
