InfiniBand/optický kabel BlueOptics SFPP-AOC-3M-BO SFP+ 3m samec/samec

The BlueOptics SFPP-AOC-3M-BO is a 3-meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ male-to-male connectors designed for high-speed InfiniBand and fiber optic networks. The cable integrates optical transmitter and receiver modules on each end and uses multimode fiber to support up to 10 Gbit/s data rates over the 3 m link. The pre-assembled SFP+–SFP+ design eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, providing a compact direct-attach solution for switches, routers, storage systems and other compatible network hardware.

Advantages

The BlueOptics SFPP-AOC-3M-BO provides a factory-terminated optical link that is immune to electromagnetic interference and does not require field polishing or connector cleaning. It supports simultaneous transmit and receive channels via SFP+ interfaces and includes digital diagnostics monitoring compliant with MSA SFF-8472 for real-time readout of supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit power, receive power and temperature when supported by host hardware. Components are selected to meet MSA standards and to ensure long operational life and consistent performance in short-reach 10G environments.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the SFP+ cage of compatible network devices until the latch engages. Ensure the host devices support SFP+ AOC modules and, if DDM/DOM information is required, that the hardware exposes those diagnostic registers. No external transceivers or patch cords are necessary; route the pre-assembled cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. For first installation, power cycle or re-negotiate interfaces if the link is not immediately detected.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility with SFP+ AOC modules before installation and confirm support for 10G operation and DDM/DOM if diagnostic monitoring is needed. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling on the cable; keep the cable within manufacturer-recommended bend radius and secure it to prevent strain on the SFP+ connectors.
