InfiniBand/optický kabel BlueOptics S26361-F3873-L503-BL 3 m SFP+ samec/samec

The BlueOptics S26361-F3873-L503-BL is a 3 m InfiniBand / direct-attach twinax cable with SFP+ male connectors on both ends. Designed for short-reach, high-speed connections, this passive 10G twinax cable supports 10GBase-CR electrical signaling and is compliant with SFP+ MSA guidelines. It is suitable for linking switches, routers, servers and storage devices inside racks or between adjacent racks where 3 m reach is required.

Advantages

This passive Direct Attach Cable (DAC) provides a cost-effective and energy-efficient solution for short-distance 10 Gbps links. Passive construction means no active electronics in the cable, resulting in low power consumption, low latency and reduced failure points. The 30 AWG twinax wiring and SFP+ to SFP+ interface follow MSA specifications to ensure interoperability with major hardware platforms that accept SFP+ passive DACs.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding module or SFP+ slot on the devices to be connected. Ensure both ports support passive 10G SFP+ Direct Attach Cables and that devices are powered down or follow hot-swap guidelines of the hardware when inserting modules. Verify link status through device LEDs or management interfaces and confirm negotiated speed and protocol settings in the network equipment configuration.

Recommendations

Use this passive SFP+ DAC for short, rack-level interconnects where 3 m reach is sufficient. Avoid tight bends and excessive mechanical stress on the cable; maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius to ensure reliable signal integrity. Confirm hardware compatibility with passive DACs in the target devices before deployment.
