How to use

Inspect both SFP28 ports and the cable ends for dust or damage before installation. Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding port until it clicks, ensuring correct orientation. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer-recommended bend radius for fibre optics. After connection, verify link status on connected devices and run diagnostics or throughput tests to confirm expected performance.

Recommendations

Store and handle the blue fibre optic cable in a clean environment to prevent contamination of connector endfaces. Use dust caps when the cable is not connected and follow equipment vendor guidelines for SFP28 compatibility and firmware or transceiver settings to ensure reliable operation.
