How to use

Insert the short or long end of the hex key into the hex socket of the fastener to achieve the required leverage. Apply steady force to turn the fastener clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen. Choose the appropriate end for access and torque needs: use the long arm for reach and the short arm for higher torque. Ensure the hex key fits cleanly into the socket to avoid rounding the fastener.

Recommendations

Use the Gedore 6341740 hex key with fasteners that match the tool size and follow torque specifications of the equipment manufacturer. Inspect the tool for wear or damage before use and store it dry to preserve the plating and prevent corrosion.
