Spravovatelný přepínač HPE Aruba Instant On 1930 – 8 portů Gigabit, 2 SFP, PoE 124 W (JL681A#ABB)

The Managed Switch Aruba Instant On 1930 is a cloud-manageable L2+ Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for small and growing businesses that need reliable performance for bandwidth-demanding applications. Available in 8-, 24- and 48-port configurations with PoE+ (Class 4) and non-PoE options, the series supports 1G SFP on the 8-port model and 1G/10G SFP+ slots on the 24- and 48-port models. The switch provides a compact 1U rack-mountable design, a MAC address table of 8000 entries, full duplex operation and a switching capacity suitable for typical small-to-medium network deployments.

Advantages

The Aruba Instant On 1930 family offers plug-and-play deployment with cloud or local web management, enabling centralised control via the Instant On mobile app or web portal. Models with Class 4 PoE deliver power for IP phones, surveillance cameras and access points without extra cabling. Built-in security features including VLANs and IEEE 802.1X access control, plus DoS protection and management access restrictions, help maintain a protected network. Fiber-capable SFP/SFP+ slots on larger models provide reliable long-distance links.

Suitable for

• Small offices and branch locations requiring managed switching and PoE for devices
• Retail and hospitality environments with IP cameras and wireless access points
• SMB networks needing centralised cloud or local management and fiber uplinks

How to use

Install the appropriate model in a rack or on a flat surface, connect uplink fiber or copper to your network, and plug endpoint devices into the RJ-45 ports. For PoE models, connect PoE-capable devices (IP phones, cameras, APs) directly to the powered ports. Manage the switch either locally via the web GUI or centrally with the Instant On cloud management using the mobile app or web portal to configure VLANs, link aggregation, Spanning Tree settings and IEEE 802.1X access control.

Recommendations

For stable operation, place the switch in a ventilated environment and use appropriate SFP/SFP+ transceivers for fiber links. Use VLANs and IEEE 802.1X to segment and secure traffic, and enable DoS protection and management access controls. For deployments requiring sustained PoE power, verify cumulative PoE budget against connected device requirements.
