Equip LC/SC optický patch kabel, OS2, 3,0 m

The Equip Optical Fiber Patch Cord LC/SC OS2 3.0m is designed for reliable fiber connections in data centers and telecommunications environments. It uses an OS2 single-mode fiber with a 9 µm core diameter and full duplex LC-to-SC connectors to provide stable high-speed data transmission over longer distances. The 3.0 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links while the construction focuses on low insertion loss and reduced return loss for consistent signal integrity.

Advantages

This patch cord is built from quality materials and precision-polished end faces to minimize return loss and insertion loss. The LC and SC connectors provide robust mating and simple installation in standard patch panels and optical equipment. Its OS2 single-mode fiber is suited to long-distance links and telecom-grade infrastructures, and the 3.0 m length balances reach and manageability in typical rack and cabinet layouts.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, routers and optical transceivers in data centers
• Telecommunications backbone and central office cabling
• Patch panels and fiber distribution frames
• Laboratory and testing setups requiring single-mode links

Key specifications

• Brand: EQUIP
• Model/MPN: 254333
• EAN: 4015867136874
• Connector type: LC to SC (duplex)
• Fiber type: OS2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Length: 3.0 m

How to use

Route the patch cord between the two devices or panel ports ensuring bend radius limits are respected. Gently insert the LC and SC connectors into the corresponding ports until they click or seat securely. Avoid placing strain on the connector ends and secure excess cable to prevent sharp bends. For maintenance, disconnect by depressing the connector latch (LC) or pulling the SC connector sleeve as applicable, keeping the fiber end faces clean before reconnection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector end faces free of dust and contaminants by using appropriate fiber cleaning tools and dust caps when not in use. Observe manufacturer bend-radius and tensile limits and select single-mode equipment compatible with OS2 fiber specifications.
