DIGITUS patch kabel - CAT6 - S/FTP - Snagless - Cu - 2 m - černý

DIGITUS Category 6 Class E patch cords provide high-end network performance compliant with ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications. The cable is equipped with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) sheath for improved fire behaviour and reduced smoke emissions, and a transparent red plug with metal shielding for simple identification of Category 6 (250 MHz). Conductors are made of copper and the cables are PoE+ ready.

Advantages

The patch cords are factory-tested to guarantee channel performance up to 250 MHz, including near-end crosstalk (NEXT). Each cable has a molded boot with kink protection and strain relief, plus a latch protector to prevent damage to the locking tab. The transparent red, metal-shielded connector allows quick visual identification of Category 6 cables in installations.

Key specifications

• Standard: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173 Category 6 (Class E)
• Frequency range: up to 250 MHz
• Conductor: Copper (Cu)
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connector: Transparent red plug with metal shielding
• PoE support: PoE+ ready
• Features: Molded boot, kink protection, strain relief, latch protector

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connector into the corresponding jack until the latch clicks into place. When routing the cable, avoid tight bends to preserve the molded boot and kink protection. Use the latch protector to reduce the risk of locking tab breakage during insertion and removal. Verify proper connection and network performance after installation.

Recommendations

For reliable channel performance, use these patch cords with compatible Category 6 cabling components and test the installed links to confirm compliance with network requirements. Store cables in a dry environment and avoid exposure to excessive heat or mechanical stress.
