Dexlan síťový kabel 858563 2 m Cat8 S/FTP šedý

The Dexlan networking cable 858563 2 m Cat8 S/FTP Grey is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for short runs where maximum data throughput and signal integrity are required. Compliant with Cat8 performance parameters and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 2 m cable supports very high-frequency transmission and is suitable for use in data centres, server rooms, and professional networking installations that demand low latency and reduced interference. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance for visible cable runs.

Advantages

This Cat8 S/FTP cable features individual pair foil shielding plus an overall braided shield to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal reliability over the full 2 m length. The RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with network devices that accept standard modular plugs. The short 2 m length reduces excess cable clutter and attenuation compared with longer runs, while the robust outer jacket and connector strain relief enhance mechanical durability in managed cabling environments.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (such as a switch, router, or server) and the other to the corresponding port on the other device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking clip engages. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise; maintain recommended bend radius for shielded cables. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management hardware and avoid excessive tension on the connector ends.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m Cat8 S/FTP cable for short, high-performance links where reduced interference and high bandwidth are priorities. Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines and keep within the specified bend radius to preserve shielding effectiveness and connector integrity.
