How to use

Mount the cnMatrix EX1028 in a standard 19‑inch rack using appropriate rack ears or brackets. Connect copper devices to the 24 RJ‑45 Gigabit ports and attach fiber uplinks or modules to the 4 SFP slots as required. Access the switch management interface via the console, web GUI, or supported management protocols to configure VLANs, access control, spanning tree, link aggregation, and other Layer 2/Layer 3 features. Save configuration and monitor port status and logs to maintain network stability.

Recommendations

Use the switch in ventilated rack spaces to ensure adequate cooling, keep firmware up to date for security and interoperability, and plan VLANs and access control policies before deployment to reduce provisioning time.
