KWB 492812 sanding sheets are 93 mm delta-shaped discs with aluminium oxide abrasive and a phenolic resin bond. They feature a strong backing and hook-and-loop fabric attachment with punched holes, designed for use with delta/detail sanders. These sheets are suitable for sanding wood and metal as well as removing paint, varnish, filler and working on stone and plastics.

Advantages

Delta sanding discs offer a durable aluminium oxide abrasive for consistent material removal and a phenolic resin bond that maintains grit adhesion under stress. The strong backing and hook-and-loop fabric make the sheets easy to attach and remove, while the punched design ensures dust extraction compatibility with many detail sanders. Their shape allows access to corners and tight spots that round or rectangular sheets cannot reach.

How to use

Attach a sanding sheet to a compatible delta/detail sander using the hook-and-loop fabric backing, aligning the punched holes with the tool's dust extraction ports. Operate the sander at appropriate speed for the material and apply light, even pressure, moving the tool along the workpiece. Replace the sheet when the abrasive is worn or clogged to maintain effective sanding performance.

Recommendations

For best results, select the correct grit for your task and test on a small area first. Use adequate dust extraction and wear suitable protective equipment such as a dust mask and eye protection when sanding. Store sheets flat in a dry environment to preserve adhesive and abrasive performance.
