BlueOptics UOC-20-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 20 m LC samec-samec

The BlueOptics UOC-20-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 20 m LC Male-Male is a 20-metre multimode/InfiniBand-compatible patch cable equipped with LC connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this cable provides a secure optical connection between servers, switches, storage arrays and InfiniBand-capable transceivers in data centres and high-performance computing environments. The male-to-male LC termination ensures straightforward compatibility with standard LC ports.

Advantages

This 20 m BlueOptics cable offers consistent optical performance for long patch runs inside racks and between adjacent equipment rows. The LC-to-LC connector pair delivers compact, reliable connections that are widely used in modern networking and InfiniBand infrastructures. The cable is engineered to provide low insertion loss and stable return-loss characteristics suitable for demanding data-centre topologies.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics UOC-20-BO by inserting the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports of the devices or patch panel until they click. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre to preserve signal integrity. Verify link status on connected devices and, if available, measure insertion loss or link performance after installation to confirm correct operation.

Recommendations

For best results, use this LC-LC cable with compatible InfiniBand transceivers and LC ports. Avoid excessive bending or compressing the cable, secure it with cable management accessories in racks, and periodically inspect connector endfaces for contamination. If performance verification is required, perform optical insertion loss and return loss measurements or use device diagnostics to confirm link quality.
