BlueOptics UOC-10-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 10 m LC samec-samec

The BlueOptics UOC-10-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 10 m patch cord with LC male connectors on both ends designed for high-speed InfiniBand links. It delivers multimode optical connectivity suitable for data-center and high-performance computing environments where low-latency, high-throughput interconnects are required. The cable is tailored for short-range optical links and provides reliable signal transmission between InfiniBand devices and compatible transceivers.

Advantages

This 10 m LC–LC InfiniBand cable combines standardized LC connectors with multimode fibre construction to provide stable, low-loss optical connections. The BlueOptics design focuses on connector quality and consistent attenuation performance across the cable length. The product is intended to be compatible with common InfiniBand transceivers and patching equipment, offering predictable optical characteristics for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links in professional installations.

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors and the transceiver ports for dust or contamination before connecting. Align the LC connector latch with the device port and push until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. For removal, depress the latch and withdraw the connector straight out. Route the 10 m cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain bend radii recommended by equipment vendors to prevent increased attenuation. When connecting to transceivers or patch panels, ensure the connected devices are powered down or follow hot-plug procedures recommended by the hardware manufacturer.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable using dust caps on unused connectors, clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating, and avoid exceeding bend radius or tension limits. For best performance in InfiniBand environments, verify compatibility with the transceiver modules in use and perform link tests after installation.
