BlueOptics SS-OP-D-LC-S-2-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 2 m samec-samec

The BlueOptics SS-OP-D-LC-S-2-BO InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 2 m Male-Male is a 2 metre single-mode fibre patch cable with LC connectors on both ends designed for high-speed InfiniBand links and general optical networking. It provides a compact LC-to-LC connection in a male-to-male configuration suitable for patch panels, transceivers and direct equipment interconnects in data centre and enterprise network environments. The cable aims to deliver reliable optical transmission and compatibility with common InfiniBand and optical networking hardware.

Advantages

This 2 m LC–LC fibre cable offers low insertion loss and consistent optical performance for short links where InfiniBand throughput and signal integrity are required. The LC connectors provide a small form-factor connection that saves panel space and supports dense port layouts. The male-to-male configuration ensures plug-and-play compatibility with devices and typical patching infrastructure.

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors and fibre endfaces for contamination before insertion. Align and insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC receptacle on transceivers, patch panels or devices until the connector clicks into place. Use the cable to create a point-to-point optical link; if required, label each end for accurate identification. To disconnect, press the LC latch and gently withdraw the connector. Store the cable in a coiled, untwisted manner to avoid stress on the fibre.

Recommendations

For best optical performance, keep connector endfaces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools and avoid bending the cable below its minimum bend radius. Use suitable strain relief in patching racks and avoid excessive pulling force when routing the cable through cable management systems.
