BlueOptics SS-OP-D-LC-S-10-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 10 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics SS-OP-D-LC-S-10-BO InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 10 m Male/Male is a single-mode LC-to-LC patch cable designed for high-speed InfiniBand and optical networking applications. With a 10‑metre length and LC connectors on both ends, this cable provides a reliable physical link between transceivers, patch panels and network equipment in data centers and professional environments. The construction prioritizes low attenuation and consistent return loss to support stable optical signal transmission over longer runs.

Advantages

This LC-to-LC single-mode cable delivers low insertion loss and high return loss characteristics appropriate for InfiniBand and other low-latency networks. The 10 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and aisle connections without intermediary splices. BlueOptics uses high-quality fiber and ceramic ferrules to ensure mechanical reliability and extended mating cycles, and the cable is built to industry standards for optical patching.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting the LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on transceivers, switches or patch panels, ensuring the latch engages securely. Route the cable along cable management paths to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer to preserve optical performance. If connecting transceivers, verify the transmit and receive orientations before powering equipment. For service or reconfiguration, handle connectors by the boot or housing and keep endfaces clean to prevent contamination and increased insertion loss.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before installation, avoid bending the cable beyond its specified minimum radius, and store unused cables with protective dust caps to maintain performance and lifetime.
