BlueOptics SFPP30-02-BL InfiniBand optický kabel 2 m SFP+ samec/samec

The BlueOptics SFPP30-02-BL InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 2 m SFP+ male-to-male cable designed for high-speed short-reach interconnects in data centres and high-performance computing environments. It provides a direct link between devices equipped with SFP+ ports and is intended for InfiniBand and other 10 Gigabit-class applications where a compact, low-latency optical connection is required.

Advantages

This 2 m SFP+ fibre optic cable offers reliable data transmission with SFP+ male connectors on both ends, enabling straightforward plug-and-play connections between compatible devices. The cable is intended to meet industry mechanical and electrical expectations for SFP+ physical interconnects, supporting short-distance, high-bandwidth links while minimizing signal loss and latency. Its compact length is suitable for rack-to-rack or intra-rack connections where a fixed, robust optical link is preferred.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, storage systems and servers with SFP+ ports
• InfiniBand links in high-performance computing clusters
• Short-reach, high-bandwidth links in data centres and server rooms

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ male on both ends
• Cable type: InfiniBand fibre optic cable
• Length: 2 metres
• Application class: 10 Gigabit-class / InfiniBand high-speed interconnects

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be linked, ensuring the connectors are aligned and fully seated. Verify that connected hardware supports passive SFP+/InfiniBand optical links and that interface settings (speed, protocol) are configured according to the device manufacturer’s guidance. Avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain on the cable; route it to prevent interference with other equipment and to maintain stable connections.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m SFP+ fibre optic cable for short, direct connections inside racks or between adjacent racks. Confirm compatibility with your equipment’s SFP+ and InfiniBand implementations and perform a functional test after installation to ensure correct link negotiation and expected throughput.
