BlueOptics SFP3333FU1MK InfiniBand optický kabel 1 m ST

The BlueOptics SFP3333FU1MK is a 1 m InfiniBand fibre optic patch cable with duplex ST/PC to ST/PC connectors and OM4 multimode fibre (50/125 µm). Designed for short-range, high-speed data transmission at 850 nm, this ST‑ST duplex cable provides reliable connections between patch panels, optical transceivers and active networking equipment. The cable is finished in magenta and fitted with a flame-retardant LSZH jacket for reduced smoke and no halogen release in case of fire.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable delivers low attenuation (approximately 2.5 dB/km) and low insertion loss with high return loss characteristics. Factory-installed zirconia ferrule connectors from reputable manufacturers ensure stable mating performance and durability up to the rated mating cycles. Each cable is production-tested using interferometry and OTDR and shipped with a measurement protocol for insertion loss and return loss values, supporting predictable performance in data center and enterprise environments.

How to use

Connect one ST connector to the transmit/receive port of an optical transceiver or patch panel port and the matching ST connector to the corresponding device port. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust before mating; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools to avoid end-face contamination. Route the cable using proper bend radii for 50/125 µm multimode fibre and secure it in cable management pathways to prevent strain or mechanical damage. If measuring link performance, refer to the included measurement protocol and verify insertion loss and return loss values after installation.

Recommendations

Use in indoor data center and enterprise networks where OM4 multimode performance at 850 nm is required. Maintain connector cleanliness, avoid tight bends (observe minimum bend radius), and store measurement documentation for future troubleshooting. For runs longer than the intended short-reach OM4 application, consider appropriate single-mode or extended multimode solutions.
