BlueOptics SFP3232FU2MK InfiniBand optický kabel 2 m 2x SC

The BlueOptics SFP3232FU2MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 2 m duplex cable with two SC connectors designed for high-speed network links. It uses OM4 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter to support reliable full-duplex data transmission over short to medium distances. The cable is intended for use in InfiniBand environments and compatible networking equipment that require SC-terminated multimode fibre connections.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre optic cable delivers high bandwidth and low attenuation suitable for demanding data-center and server-to-switch connections. The duplex SC termination provides straightforward polarity and connector management. With a 2 m length, the cable offers enough reach for rack-mounted equipment while minimizing excess cable slack that can hinder airflow and cable organization.

How to use

Verify compatible InfiniBand ports or multimode SC ports on both devices before installation. Align and insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC receptacle until it clicks into place, ensuring correct transmit/receive orientation for duplex links. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to maintain proper bend radius. Test the link after installation to confirm signal integrity and expected data rates.

Recommendations

Maintain a minimum bend radius as specified by multimode OM4 guidelines and avoid tight loops. Keep connectors clean and covered when not in use; use appropriate dust caps and perform connector cleaning if signal issues occur. For optimal performance in data centre environments, plan cable routing to reduce strain and improve airflow.
