BlueOptics SFP3131EU2MK InfiniBand optický kabel 2 m LC aqua

The BlueOptics SFP3131EU2MK is a 2 m InfiniBand fiber optic patch cord with duplex LC/UPC to LC/UPC connectors and laser-optimized multi-mode fiber (LOMMF) in OM3 (50/125 µm) rated fiber. Designed for 850 nm transmission, the aqua-colored cable supports full-duplex connections between patch panels, optical transceivers and other network equipment. The jacket is flame-retardant LSZH to limit smoke and avoid halogen release in case of fire.

Advantages

This OM3 LC–LC duplex cable offers low attenuation (3.5 dB/km), low insertion loss and high return loss. Connectors are fitted with zirconia ceramic ferrules and branded connector components to ensure reliable mating performance up to 1500 cycles. Production testing includes interferometer and OTDR measurements; each cable ships with a measurement report of insertion loss and return loss. The product conforms to Telcordia GR-326-Core 4.4 and common IEC and RoHS standards.

How to use

Inspect connectors and fiber ends for contamination before installation. Plug the LC connectors into corresponding duplex LC ports on transceivers or patch panels, ensuring correct polarity for transmit and receive paths. Avoid tight bends below the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius and secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors. If necessary, verify link performance with appropriate optical test equipment using the included measurement report as a reference.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, store and handle the OM3 patch cord in a clean environment, clean connector end faces with approved fiber cleaning tools before mating, and choose cable lengths that minimize excess slack in high-density installations.
