BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-MV-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 15 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-MV-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15m Male/Male is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors designed for short-reach, high-speed links. At 15 metres length and a male-to-male SFP28 configuration, this multi-mode AOC supports 25G data rates and complies with MSA SFP28 form-factor standards. It integrates a transmitter and receiver in each connector to convert electrical signals to optical for reliable data transmission over multi-mode fibre.

Advantages

This BlueOptics SFP28 active optical cable provides consistent 25G performance across the 15 m reach while remaining compliant with SFP28 MSA mechanical and electrical specifications. Its integrated transceiver design reduces the need for separate modules and patch cords, simplifying deployment in data centre topologies. The male-to-male SFP28 connection ensures compatibility with equipment that accepts SFP28 AOCs for InfiniBand, Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• Short-reach interconnects between switches, routers and servers within racks or across adjacent rows
• High-speed InfiniBand and 25G Ethernet links in data centres and enterprise networks
• Storage networking where Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) or low-latency links are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 male to SFP28 male (active optical cable)
• Length: 15 metres
• Transmission: Multi-mode fibre with integrated transmitter and receiver in each connector
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Protocol support: Ethernet, InfiniBand and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (where supported)
• Form factor: SFP28 compliant with MSA mechanical standards

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-MV-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 ports on your network devices until the connectors latch. Ensure devices are powered down or follow hot‑swap procedures recommended by your hardware vendor. After physical installation, verify link status and speed in the equipment management interface and confirm that the devices negotiate the expected 25G link. No separate transceivers or patch cords are required for the optical link because the AOC integrates transmitter and receiver elements.

Recommendations

Use this AOC within the specified rack and cable management pathways to avoid tight bends and physical strain on the cable. Verify compatibility with your switch, router or storage platform for SFP28 AOC support and, where possible, test a sample in your environment to confirm interoperability and link stability at 25G.
