BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-IA-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 15 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-IA-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15m Male/Male is a 15-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors at both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission in data centres and networking environments, this AOC integrates transceivers and uses multimode fibre to carry optical signals for low-latency, short-reach connections up to 25 Gbps where supported by connected equipment.

Advantages

This BlueOptics SFP28 AOC provides a single-cable solution that combines transmitter and receiver modules in a compact SFP28 form factor, enabling plug-and-play installation and eliminating the need for separate transceivers plus patch cords. The 15 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment links within data centre racks or telecom rooms. Compatibility with hardware that supports the matching SFP28 AOC form factor simplifies deployment and supports high-speed protocols such as 25G Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet when the host systems permit.

Suitable for

• Short-reach interconnects in data centres (rack-to-rack, shelf-to-shelf)
• High-speed links in switches, routers and storage systems that accept SFP28 AOCs
• Applications requiring low-latency multimode fibre connections up to 15 metres

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 Male to SFP28 Male
• Length: 15 metres
• Medium: Active Optical Cable with multimode fibre
• Supported data rates: up to 25 Gbps where host supports 25G links
• Form factor: SFP28 AOC (integrated transceivers)

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into a compatible SFP28 port on the networking devices while the devices are powered on or follow your site procedure for hot-plugging. Ensure the host equipment officially supports SFP28 AOCs and the intended 25G protocol. Route the cable within racks or cable trays to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; the integrated active modules manage the optical signal conversion and power from the host port.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this AOC with switches, routers and storage systems that explicitly support SFP28 active optical cables and 25G interfaces. Avoid exceeding specified bend radius and protect connectors from dust when not in use. If interoperability is critical, validate the cable in a test environment with your specific hardware before large-scale deployment.
