BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-FR-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 15 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-FR-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15m Male/Male is a 15‑metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transfer in data centers and enterprise networks, this cable supports 25G signalling over multi-mode fibre and implements integrated transmitter and receiver modules within the SFP28 form factor. The male/male SFP28 connection ensures plug-and-play compatibility with network devices that accept SFP28 modules.

Advantages

This AOC delivers low-latency, high-bandwidth links with the physical convenience of a single cable assembly rather than separate transceivers and patch cords. Integrated optics reduce power and space compared with discrete transceiver plus fibre-patch solutions. The 15 m length provides extended reach within racks or between adjacent racks and equipment cabinets while maintaining signal integrity for 25G applications.

Suitable for

• High-speed InfiniBand or 25G Ethernet links within data centers
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch interconnects across rack aisles
• Storage systems and SAN interconnects that require SFP28 connectivity

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 male on both ends
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) using multi‑mode fibre
• Nominal length: 15 metres
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Form factor: SFP28 MSA-compatible AOC assembly

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector firmly into the corresponding SFP28 receptacle on your devices until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered down or follow hot‑swap procedures recommended by the equipment manufacturer. After installation, verify link status and speed through device management interfaces or LED indicators. If necessary, consult the host device compatibility list to confirm supported link modes and auto-negotiation settings.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Use this AOC in equipment that officially supports SFP28 AOC modules and verify firmware compatibility when connecting to third‑party switches or routers.
