SFP+ kabel CBO 45W2401-BL 1 m samec/samec 10 Gbit/s

Direct-attach SFP+ cable BlueOptics 1 m Male/Male is a short-range copper interconnect engineered for 10 Gbit/s links between network devices with SFP+ ports. The 1 metre passive assembly provides a factory-terminated cable with integrated SFP+ connectors on both ends, offering a compact, low-latency connection suitable for top-of-rack, server-to-switch or switch-to-switch links within racks or adjacent racks. The construction focuses on predictable electrical performance and reliable signal integrity over short distances to support high-throughput environments.

Advantages

This SFP+ cable delivers a plug-and-play connection without additional transceivers, reducing component count and simplifying installation. Passive copper design enables low latency and efficient power use compared with active optical alternatives for short links. The fixed 1 m length helps maintain tidy rack layout and consistent channel characteristics, while factory-terminated connectors ensure repeatable mechanical and electrical mating with standard SFP+ ports.

Suitable for

• Short-range 10 Gbit/s links between switches in the same rack
• Server-to-top-of-rack switch connections
• Interconnects between network adapters and switches
• High-density patching within data center racks

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ plug-to-plug (both ends male)
• Length: 1 metre
• Nominal data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Cable medium: passive copper direct-attach
• Typical use case: short-range connections within racks or adjacent racks

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port until the latch engages; confirm link status on connected devices. Because the cable is a passive direct-attach copper assembly, no additional transceivers or configuration steps are required to establish a physical 10 Gbit/s link, though device settings such as speed, duplex, or port enabling should be verified in the network equipment as needed. Handle the cable by the connector housings when plugging or unplugging to avoid stress on the assembly.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m passive SFP+ cable for short, high-density links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources and maintain recommended bend radius to preserve signal integrity. For longer distances or where electrical isolation is required, consider optical transceivers and fiber cabling instead.
