SFP+ kabel CBO 2127933-3-BL 2 m samec-samec 10 Gbit/s

Direct-attach SFP+ cable CBO 2127933-3-BL is a 2 m Male-to-Male assembly supporting 10 Gbit/s data rates. Designed for short-range high-speed connections between devices equipped with SFP+ ports, this copper twinax cable provides a fixed, low-latency link for switches, servers and storage equipment. The cable is intended for environments where a reliable, cost-effective direct connection is required without the need for separate optical transceivers.

Advantages

This 2 m SFP+ cable delivers 10 Gbit/s performance with low power consumption and minimal overhead compared to optical solutions. As a twinax direct-attach cable it simplifies installation: plug-and-play operation reduces setup time and eliminates the need for separate transceivers or patch cords. Its direct-attach design ensures predictable signal integrity and reduces points of failure in short-range interconnects.

Suitable for

• Direct connections between SFP+ ports on switches and routers
• Server-to-switch uplinks in data centre racks
• Interconnecting storage arrays and SAN equipment over short distances
• Top-of-rack and end-of-row network cabling within the same room or cabinet

Key specifications

• Cable type: direct-attach copper (twinax) with integrated SFP+ connectors
• Length: 2 m
• Connector gender: Male-to-Male SFP+
• Maximum data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Typical application range: short-reach, within rack or adjacent racks
• Compatibility: designed for devices with SFP+ ports supporting direct-attach copper

How to use

Ensure both devices have compatible SFP+ ports and support direct-attach copper connections. Align the SFP+ connectors with the device ports and insert until they latch; no additional configuration is typically required. For removal, depress the release mechanism on the SFP+ connector and withdraw the cable gently. Verify link status on both devices after installation and check for any port-specific settings such as speed/duplex or administrative enablement.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth links within the same rack or neighbouring racks. Avoid running twinax cables in high-flex or frequently moved installations; secure the cable to reduce strain on connectors and maintain proper airflow in equipment cabinets.
