SFP+ Direct-Attach kabel CBO 2127933-4-BL 3 m samec-samec 10 Gbit/s

CBO SFP+ direct-attach cable 2127933-4-BL is a 3 m male-to-male copper cable designed for short-range 10 Gbit/s connections between SFP+ ports. It provides a low-latency, cost-effective link for connecting switches, servers and network appliances within racks or between adjacent racks. The cable is intended for environments where a simple, reliable 10 Gbit/s physical connection is needed without the complexity of optical transceivers.

Advantages

The CBO SFP+ DAC offers plug-and-play operation with minimal configuration required and reduced power consumption compared to active optical solutions. Its fixed copper assembly ensures stable electrical performance and low latency suitable for high-throughput applications. The 3 m length balances reach and signal integrity for typical rack-to-rack and intra-rack deployments, while the male-to-male SFP+ connectors provide direct compatibility with equipment that supports SFP+ direct-attach cables.

Suitable for

• Short-range 10 Gbit/s links between switches in the same or adjacent racks
• Direct connections between servers and top-of-rack switches
• High-throughput network appliances requiring low-latency links
• Data center patching where optical transceivers are not required

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ male-to-male
• Cable length: 3 meters
• Supported data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Cable medium: Copper direct-attach
• Typical use range: short-range / intra-rack and adjacent-rack
• Latency: low (direct copper link)

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the two devices to be connected until the latch clicks. Ensure both devices support SFP+ passive direct-attach cables and configure network interfaces on the devices as required by your setup. No additional power or transceiver modules are necessary. When removing the cable, release the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the port.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical stress. Use the 3 m length for intra-rack or short rack-to-rack links; for longer spans consider optical transceivers or active cables. Verify device compatibility with passive SFP+ DACs and keep firmware updated for optimal interoperability.
