BlueOptics SFP-10G-C-1-BL InfiniBand/optický kabel 1 m SFP+ samec/samec

The BlueOptics SFP-10G-C-1-BL is a 1 m InfiniBand/fibre optic direct attach cable with SFP+ male-to-male connectors designed for short-range high-speed connections. This cable provides a compact twinax copper link for 10G connections between compatible SFP+ ports in racks and adjacent rack systems. The product is available in a black and silver finish and has a lightweight construction suitable for dense cabling environments.

Advantages

The cable supports 10G data rates for Ethernet, Fibre Channel and InfiniBand applications over a 1 meter distance, offering low latency and low power consumption in passive operation. Constructed to MSA-compliant dimensions and manufactured using industry-grade components, it is intended to deliver reliable mechanical fit and electrical performance in systems that support SFP+ direct attach twinax copper cables. Its passive design eliminates active electronics in the cable, simplifying deployment and reducing points of failure.

How to use

Install the SFP+ connectors into matching SFP+ ports on network devices, ensuring both ends are fully seated and the retaining latches engage. Use the cable for short copper links up to 1 m, and verify that the connected hardware supports passive SFP+ direct attach twinax copper cables and the target transmission protocol (Ethernet, FCoE, Fibre Channel or InfiniBand). Avoid excessive bending and mechanical stress on the cable around the connector housings during routing.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep cable runs within the 1 m length and route away from sources of mechanical strain. Confirm device compatibility with passive SFP+ twinax DACs before deployment and, if possible, test one cable in the intended hardware to validate link negotiation and performance.
