BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-7M-NK-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 7 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-7M-NK-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 7m Male/Male is an active optical cable intended for high-speed interconnects in data centre and enterprise network environments. With QSFP form-factor connectors on both ends and a 7 metre length, this cable supports low-latency, high-bandwidth links between switches, servers and storage nodes while reducing electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives.

Advantages

This QSFP active optical cable provides consistent signal integrity over a 7 m reach and simplifies rack-to-rack or within-rack connectivity by eliminating transceivers and separate fibre patching. The male-to-male QSFP interfaces enable straightforward plug-and-play installation in compatible QSFP ports. The optical medium offers reduced weight, lower power dissipation at high data rates, and immunity to ground loop issues common with long copper runs.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing clusters and InfiniBand fabrics
• Data centre switch-to-switch or switch-to-server connections
• Storage area network (SAN) interconnects requiring low latency
• Short to medium rack-to-rack link installations up to 7 metres

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP (male) on both ends
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 7 metres
• Protocol support: InfiniBand / high-speed serial interconnects
• Typical characteristics: low latency, high bandwidth, immunity to EMI

How to use

Install the BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-7M-NK-BO by aligning and inserting each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port on host equipment until the latch engages. Ensure both ends are seated firmly and that connected devices are powered and configured for the intended InfiniBand link speed. No separate transceivers or patch cords are required; monitor link status through host management interfaces and perform standard diagnostics if a link does not establish.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius for active optical cables. Use in temperature-controlled data centre environments and verify port compatibility and firmware support for QSFP AOC modules prior to deployment.
