BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-IA-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 3 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-IA-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 3-meter active optical cable with Male-to-Male QSFP connectors, engineered for high-speed data transfer in data centers and enterprise networks. Designed for short-reach interconnects, this cable supports low-latency, high-bandwidth links between switches, servers, and storage systems where reliable InfiniBand connectivity is required.

Advantages

This QSFP-to-QSFP AOC offers a compact, lightweight alternative to copper and traditional transceiver-plus-fiber assemblies, reducing port and rack space usage while delivering consistent signal integrity. The integrated optics minimize heat output and power consumption compared with direct-attach copper solutions at comparable rates. Its fixed length and pre-terminated connectors simplify installation and reduce the potential for connector handling errors, improving overall operational reliability.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing clusters and InfiniBand fabrics
• Data center switch-to-switch and switch-to-server interconnects
• Storage area networks and SAN uplinks
• Low-latency trading platforms and real-time analytics infrastructure

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP Male to QSFP Male
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Length: 3 meters
• Application: InfiniBand high-speed interconnects
• Form factor: QSFP direct connect
• Typical use: Short-reach data center links

How to use

Install the BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-IA-BO by inserting each QSFP male connector into the corresponding QSFP port on networking equipment, ensuring the latch engages securely. No external transceivers or additional fiber cabling are required. Verify link status on connected devices after insertion and route the cable to avoid sharp bends or mechanical strain. For removal, depress the connector latch and withdraw the plug straight out to prevent port damage.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short, fixed-length connections inside racks or between adjacent racks. Maintain bend radius and avoid tight cable loops; store and handle the cable by the connector housings to preserve optical performance. Match the cable to equipment that supports QSFP InfiniBand interfaces and confirm firmware or driver compatibility when integrating into heterogeneous environments.
