BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-1M-MV-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 1m samec/samec

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-1M-MV-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1m Male/Male is a short-reach active optical cable designed for high-bandwidth interconnects. With QSFP form-factor connectors at both ends, this 1-metre cable supports InfiniBand environments and provides a compact, low-latency link between switches, servers and high-performance computing nodes. It is intended for installations requiring reliable, high-speed data transfer over a short distance within racks or between adjacent racks.

Advantages

This BlueOptics QSFP active optical cable offers consistent signal integrity with reduced electromagnetic interference compared to copper alternatives. The integrated optical transceivers simplify deployment by eliminating separate transceiver modules, and the 1 m length helps maintain neat cable management in dense rack environments. Its QSFP connectors provide compatibility with standard QSFP ports used in InfiniBand and other high-speed networking equipment.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing clusters and server interconnects
• Top-of-rack and adjacent-rack switch-to-switch connections
• Low-latency links in data centre fabrics
• Short-reach InfiniBand connections inside racks

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP male to QSFP male
• Length: 1 metre
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Supported interface: InfiniBand
• Typical use: Short-reach, high-bandwidth interconnects

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port until the latch engages. Ensure that both endpoints support active optical cables and the InfiniBand protocol. Route the 1 m cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended by the equipment manufacturer. After physical installation, verify link status and configuration in the host or switch management interfaces to confirm the connection is active.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, operate the cable within the ambient temperature and mechanical stress limits specified by your system vendor, avoid tight bends and excessive tension, and ensure firmware and driver support for QSFP AOC devices on connected equipment.
