BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-1M-CI-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 1m samec/samec

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-1M-CI-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1m Male/Male is a 1‑metre active optical cable designed for high-speed, short-reach connections between InfiniBand or QSFP-capable ports. With QSFP form-factor connectors on both ends and a male/male configuration, this cable supports low-latency data transfers and is suitable for use in data centers, server racks, and high-performance computing clusters where reliable, high-bandwidth links are required.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers high data rates with reduced electromagnetic interference compared to copper alternatives, while maintaining a compact, flexible cable assembly for dense rack environments. The 1 m length minimizes excess cable slack and helps maintain clean cable management. Plug-and-play compatibility with QSFP ports simplifies installation and reduces setup time.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing clusters and inter-node links
• Data center uplinks and switch-to-switch connections
• Server-to-switch connections in rack environments
• Environments requiring low-latency, high-bandwidth links

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP (male) on both ends
• Length: 1 metre
• Media: active optical cable (AOC)
• Application: InfiniBand / QSFP high-speed links
• Cabling advantage: immunity to electromagnetic interference compared to copper

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into compatible QSFP ports on the devices to be connected, ensuring the connector latch engages. No additional configuration is typically required; the cable is recognized by devices supporting QSFP/AOC links. Route the 1 m cable to avoid tight bends or excessive strain and secure it according to rack or chassis cable-management practices.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer's minimum bend radius and keep the connectors free of dust. Use the 1 m length for short-reach links inside racks or between adjacent racks to maintain optimal signal integrity and tidy cable runs.
