BlueOptics JG081C InfiniBand optický kabel 5 m SFP+ samec samec

The BlueOptics JG081C InfiniBand fibre optic cable 5 m SFP+ Male Male is a 5-metre multimode fibre patch cable fitted with SFP+ compatible connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this cable enables low-latency, high-bandwidth links between network devices, switches and servers in data centre and enterprise network infrastructures. The construction focuses on signal integrity and reliable physical connection for short to medium reach applications.

Advantages

This InfiniBand fibre cable provides a compact, connectorized solution for SFP+ ports with minimal insertion loss and consistent performance over its 5 m length. The cable supports high data rates typical for InfiniBand and SFP+ applications while maintaining a durable outer jacket for protection against handling and routing stresses. Its connector configuration ensures straightforward installation and hot-pluggable compatibility with SFP+ ports.

How to use

Prepare the SFP+ ports by ensuring devices are powered down or support hot-plugging per manufacturer guidance. Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding port until it clicks into place, taking care to avoid sharp bends in the fibre cable and to route the cable to prevent interference with airflow or other equipment. Verify link status on connected devices and consult device logs or LEDs to confirm successful negotiation of the InfiniBand/SFP+ link.

Recommendations

Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force on the cable; maintain minimum bend radius as specified by typical multimode fibre practice. Keep connectors clean and protected when not in use to reduce signal loss. Use this 5 m cable for in-rack and adjacent-rack connections where short, high-performance fibre links are required.
