BlueOptics H-QSFP+AOC7M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 7 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics H-QSFP+AOC7M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 7 m Male/Male is an active optical cable (AOC) designed for short-range, high-speed interconnects. With QSFP-to-QSFP male connectors and a 7-metre multi-mode fibre link, it supports 40Gbps-class applications and is intended for use in data centers and high-performance computing environments where reliable, low-latency connections are required.

Advantages

This BlueOptics AOC integrates transmitter and receiver modules at each end to deliver optical signal conversion over multi-mode fibre, enabling high-speed data transmission with minimal electrical cabling. The cable follows QSFP physical interface conventions and MSA-aligned form-factor compatibility for straightforward plug-and-play installation. Its 7 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack and intra-rack connections while reducing electromagnetic interference compared with equivalent copper links.

How to use

Ensure both endpoints support QSFP AOC modules and the required 40G-class link profiles. Handle the cable by the connector housings and route the fibre to avoid tight bends or crushing; observe standard data centre cabling practices. Insert each QSFP male connector into the corresponding QSFP port until it seats; verify link status through connected devices. No additional transceivers are required because the optical transceiver components are integrated within the cable ends.

Recommendations

Store and operate the cable within manufacturer-specified temperature and humidity ranges, avoid sharp bends (follow minimum bend radius guidelines), and check device compatibility lists if vendor interoperability is critical. For critical deployments, validate performance with a short test run before full production use.
