BlueOptics EX-QSFP-8LC-AOC30M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 30 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics EX-QSFP-8LC-AOC30M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 30 m Male/Male is a 30‑meter active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP to QSFP connections designed for high-speed short-range links. It integrates transceivers at both ends to convert electrical signals to optical signals over multimode fibre and follows Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) compliant QSFP form-factor conventions for consistent interoperability in data center environments and high-performance computing setups.

Advantages

This 30 m AOC supports 40G data rates over multimode fibre and provides a plug-and-play QSFP male-to-male connection that simplifies deployment between compatible QSFP ports. Built with integrated transmitters and receivers on each end, the cable reduces the need for separate transceiver modules and cabling transceivers, lowers power consumption compared with some optical module plus patch cord combinations, and maintains signal integrity for short-reach connections.

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into corresponding QSFP ports on networking equipment or servers while the devices are powered according to the vendor’s installation guidelines. The AOC is designed for plug-and-play operation; the integrated transceivers handle signal conversion and link negotiation automatically when connected to compatible 40G QSFP ports. Ensure connector latches engage and avoid excessive bending of the cable to preserve multimode fibre performance.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short-reach 40G interconnects within racks or between adjacent racks. Verify that connected devices support QSFP AOC links and the intended protocols (Ethernet, InfiniBand or Fibre Channel over Ethernet) at 40G. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, and follow static-sensitive handling and hot-plug guidance from the equipment vendor.
