BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-10M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 10m SFP28 samec

The BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-10M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 10m SFP28 Male is a 10-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed short-reach interconnects in data centres and high-performance computing environments. The cable integrates transmitter and receiver modules on each end and uses multi-mode fibre to carry optical signals, supporting 25 Gbps class transmission according to SR4 conventions. It is intended for use with systems that support SFP28-compatible AOC connections and MSA-compliant interfaces.

Advantages

The AOC design combines transceiver modules and multi-mode fibre in a single, factory-terminated assembly, reducing the need for separate transceivers and patch cords while maintaining signal integrity over the 10 m reach. SFP28 form-factor compatibility ensures straightforward plug-and-play integration in SFP28 ports. The integrated transmit and receive optics on each end provide stable optical performance for short-reach, high-bandwidth links and minimise electrical-to-optical conversion points.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-10M-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the connector latches. Confirm that connected devices support SFP28 AOC modules and that firmware or settings permit the intended 25 G class link. No additional transceivers or patch panels are required for basic point-to-point connections; treat the cable assembly as a single pluggable unit. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and route the cable to prevent sharp kinks or pressure that could affect optical performance.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules before deployment and test links for proper speed and link integrity after installation. Maintain bend radius guidelines for multi-mode AOC assemblies and keep connectors free of dust when unplugged.
