BlueOptics CBL-QSFP+AOC-30M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 30 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics CBL-QSFP+AOC-30M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 30-metre active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP male connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed short-reach links in data centres and enterprise networks, this multi-mode fibre AOC integrates transceivers at each end to transmit optical signals according to the supported transmission protocols. The cable supports 40G applications and is intended for systems that accept QSFP-to-QSFP active optical connections.

Advantages

This 30 m BlueOptics AOC provides a plug-and-play QSFP to QSFP connection with integrated transmitter and receiver modules, reducing the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. The active design enables reliable high-speed data transfer over multi-mode fibre at short to medium distances while ensuring compatibility with equipment that supports QSFP AOC interfaces. The male/male QSFP configuration simplifies installation in rack, switch or storage environments where direct QSFP interconnects are required.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics CBL-QSFP+AOC-30M-BO by inserting each QSFP male connector into the corresponding QSFP port on your networking devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support QSFP AOC connections and the intended transmission protocol (for example 40GBASE-SR4 or InfiniBand). No external transceivers or additional fibre patching are required; the cable carries both transmit and receive optical modules internally. Confirm link status and negotiate speeds on the devices after connection.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short-reach 40G links inside racks or between adjacent racks; avoid tight bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Verify device compatibility with QSFP AOC modules and check link settings in the equipment firmware to ensure optimal performance.
