BlueOptics CBL-QSFP+AOC-15M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 15 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics CBL-QSFP+AOC-15M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15m Male/Male is a 15-metre active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP to QSFP male connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in data centre and networking environments. Compatible with 40GBASE-SR4 applications and suitable for multi-mode fibre links, this cable integrates transmitter and receiver modules in each connector to convert and transmit optical signals over the full cable length. The product is intended for use with networking equipment that supports QSFP AOC connections and 40 Gbps link rates.

Advantages

The cable provides a single-cable solution for short to medium reach high-bandwidth links, reducing the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. Integrated optics on both ends simplify installation and ensure consistent signal integrity across the 15 m span. Built to industry MSA-compatible QSFP form‑factor standards, it supports multiple protocols such as Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet at data rates up to 40 Gbps where supported by connected equipment. The male-to-male QSFP connectors enable direct QSFP port-to-port connections without additional adapters.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each QSFP male connector directly into the QSFP ports of the devices to be linked. Ensure both devices support QSFP AOC connections and the desired 40 Gbps protocol before powering the link. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain, and secure it to cable management fixtures as needed. After connection, verify link negotiation and operational status using the host device management interface or port LEDs.

Recommendations

Use this 15 m BlueOptics QSFP AOC for short- to medium-reach optical links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Confirm compatibility with your hardware and supported link speeds, and follow standard handling procedures for active optical cables to maintain performance and reliability.
