BlueOptics AV1L-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 3 m QSFP28 samec-samec

The BlueOptics AV1L-BO InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 3m QSFP28 Male-Male is a 3-metre multimode optical cable with QSFP28 connectors on both ends, engineered for high-bandwidth data transmission. It is intended for short-reach interconnects in data centres and high-performance computing networks, offering low latency and stable signal integrity for InfiniBand links and other QSFP28-compatible equipment.

Advantages

This QSFP28 to QSFP28 fibre optic cable provides consistent high-speed transmission suitable for 100GbE and InfiniBand HDR/EDR environments where compatible transceivers are used. The 3 m length balances reach and manageability in rack and cabinet installations, reducing the need for intermediate patching. The fibre construction ensures immunity to electromagnetic interference and supports reliable, low-loss connections between switches, routers, or compute nodes.

How to use

Install the cable by aligning each QSFP28 connector with the corresponding port on your devices and insert until the connector latches. Ensure both ends are seated properly and that cable routing avoids tight bends and mechanical strain. Verify link status through device management interfaces or LEDs, and confirm negotiated data rates and link health in your switch or host adapter diagnostics.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable following standard best practices: avoid excessive bending radii, protect connector endfaces from dust and contamination, and use dust caps when connectors are not in use. For optimal performance, verify that connected transceivers and ports support QSFP28 speeds and InfiniBand protocol versions used in the network.
