BlueOptics ATZ5-BO InfiniBand/optický kabel 7 m QSFP

The BlueOptics ATZ5-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 7 m QSFP is a 7-metre multimode fibre cable equipped with QSFP connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transfer, this fibre optic link supports low-latency connections between networking equipment and high-performance computing nodes. Its 7 m length provides flexible rack-to-rack and switch-to-server routing in data centre and enterprise rack environments while maintaining signal integrity suitable for InfiniBand applications.

Advantages

The cable offers a compact QSFP-to-QSFP connection that reduces insertion loss and supports high throughput. Its multimode fibre construction is intended to deliver stable signal transmission over the 7-metre span, and the robust connectors permit frequent mating cycles typical in data centre operations. The cable's design simplifies cabling layouts, helps maintain predictable latency, and is compatible with equipment using QSFP interfaces for InfiniBand or similar high-speed protocols.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics 7 m QSFP cable by aligning the connector keys with the QSFP ports on your devices and inserting until fully seated. Ensure both ends are properly latched to prevent accidental disconnection. Route the cable following standard data centre cable management practices to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. Verify link status on connected devices and perform appropriate tests for throughput and error rates after installation.

Recommendations

To preserve signal quality, avoid bending the fibre sharply and keep the connectors clean. Use dust caps when ports are not in use and inspect connectors before mating. For rack installations, secure the cable with appropriate routing hardware to prevent strain. If used in InfiniBand clusters, confirm compatibility with your QSFP ports and validate performance under expected load conditions.
