BlueOptics ATYZ-BO InfiniBand/optický kabel 5 m SFP+ samec/samec

The BlueOptics ATYZ-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 5 m SFP+ Male/Male is a 5-metre optical patch cable designed for high-speed network links that use SFP+ transceivers. It provides a direct fibre connection between SFP+ ports on switches, servers or storage devices, enabling low-latency, high-bandwidth data transfer for InfiniBand and other compatible networking environments.

Advantages

This SFP+ fibre optic cable offers a stable optical connection with low insertion loss and consistent signal quality across the full 5 m length. Its male-to-male SFP+ terminations are compatible with equipment that accepts SFP+ plug-in modules, and the cable construction is intended to minimize electromagnetic interference while maintaining reliable transmission at high data rates. The 5 m length gives flexibility for equipment placement in racks, cabinets or data centre aisles.

How to use

Inspect both SFP+ connector ends and the transceiver ports for dust or damage before installation. Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port until it clicks into place, ensuring correct orientation. After connection, verify link status on connected equipment and confirm negotiated speeds and protocols. When removing the cable, press the release mechanism on the SFP+ module and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the port.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre connectors by the housing and avoid touching the ferrule. Keep protective caps on unused connectors and clean connector end-faces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if link issues arise. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance.
