Audio kabel Procab XLR samec na XLR samice 5 m (model 1KPCL118)

Procab XLR Male to XLR Female 5 m (model 1KPCL118) is a balanced analog audio cable designed to extend XLR connections between microphones, mixers, preamps and audio interfaces. With a 5 metre length, the cable provides a practical solution for short-to-medium distance routing in studio, live sound and recording environments. Its construction focuses on stable signal transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference for clear audio paths.

Advantages

The cable features a balanced three-conductor design that helps minimise noise and hum when used with compatible balanced equipment. Durable connectors and a robust outer jacket improve mechanical reliability during frequent handling. The cable’s impedance and shielding are optimised for analog microphone and line-level signals, providing consistent performance in typical audio setups.

Suitable for

• Extending microphone connections on stage or in the studio
• Connecting mixers and preamps to outboard gear
• Linking audio interfaces to microphone or line sources
• Temporary or permanent routing in rehearsal rooms and broadcast setups

Key specifications

• Cable type: balanced XLR (male to female)
• Length: 5 m
• Conductor configuration: three conductors for balanced audio transmission
• Shielding: braid shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference
• Connector types: XLR male and XLR female with strain relief
• Intended signal: analog microphone and line-level signals

How to use

Connect the XLR male end to the output of the source device and the XLR female end to the input of the receiving device, ensuring secure seating of the connectors. Route the cable to avoid running parallel to power cables or other sources of electromagnetic interference. For best results, use balanced inputs and outputs on the connected equipment and verify polarity and pin wiring if combining with other custom cabling.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable, protect connectors from impact, and store the cable coiled without tight loops. When using on stage or in installations, secure the cable with tape or clips to prevent trip hazards and mechanical strain on connector joints.
