Adaptér videokabelu IOGEAR GDPHD4KA

The IOGEAR GDPHD4KA Active DisplayPort to HDMI adapter converts a DisplayPort output to an HDMI output, enabling connection of DisplayPort-equipped sources (computer, laptop or DisplayPort graphics card) to HDMI displays, projectors or HDTVs. The compact adapter supports DisplayPort 1.2 and delivers Ultra High Definition (UHD) video up to 3840 x 2160 while remaining bus-powered and lightweight for easy transport and use.

Advantages

This active adapter provides full signal conversion from DisplayPort to HDMI, allowing the GPU to recognize native DisplayPort signals when required (for example with multi-monitor configurations using AMD Radeon Eyefinity). It supports multi-channel digital audio pass-through (up to 8 channels, LPCM and HBR formats), complies with DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 standards, and supports content protection (DPCP/HDCP). The plug-and-play design requires no drivers or external power.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DisplayPort-equipped PC or laptop to an HDMI TV, monitor or projector
• Displaying 4K UHD content from a DisplayPort source on HDMI displays (up to 3840 x 2160)
• Multi-monitor setups that require active conversion (e.g., AMD Radeon Eyefinity)

How to use

Connect the adapter’s DisplayPort plug to the DisplayPort output on your computer or graphics card. Attach a standard HDMI cable between the adapter’s HDMI Type A output and the HDMI input on your display, TV or projector. The adapter is plug-and-play; the connected device should detect the display automatically. If using multi-monitor configurations with GPUs that require active adapters, connect additional displays according to the GPU manufacturer’s guidelines.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality HDMI cable rated for the target resolution (4K) and ensure the source device’s DisplayPort output is set to support DisplayPort 1.2 and audio pass-through when required. For best results in multi-monitor setups, consult your GPU’s documentation on Eyefinity or multi-display configuration.
