How to use

Install the ACT adapter plate by mounting it to a compatible wall box or surface bracket using the provided screw holes. Snap or insert keystone UTP jacks into the four openings until they click into place, then terminate the cables to the rear of each jack according to the jack manufacturer's wiring scheme. After termination and testing, secure the faceplate to conceal the connections and provide a finished appearance. Ensure network cables are tested for continuity and correct pairing before finalizing the installation.

Recommendations

For best results, use this adapter plate with certified keystone UTP jacks that match the intended network category (Cat5e, Cat6, etc.). Label ports during installation to simplify future maintenance, and avoid over-tightening mounting screws to prevent cracking the plate. Perform cable tests after termination to verify performance and signal integrity.
