Scénický mikrofon AKG C544 L

The AKG C544 L is a compact wired stage microphone engineered for live performance and instrument miking. With a sensitivity of 35 dB and a wide frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, it captures vocals and instrument detail with clarity across the audible spectrum. The microphone uses a mini XLR (3-pin) connection for stable wired signal transmission and its lightweight, 30 g construction supports easy mounting and handling during stage use. The black finish and unobtrusive design make it suitable for professional stage setups and close-miking applications.

Advantages

The microphone's wide frequency range and 35 dB sensitivity deliver consistent capture of both low-frequency fundamentals and high-frequency detail. Its wired mini XLR interface provides a reliable connection that is compatible with many stage and instrument mounting systems. The low weight and compact form factor simplify placement on instruments or stands while minimizing added mass and visual distraction.

Suitable for

• Close miking of acoustic instruments (guitar, wind instruments, percussion)
• Live stage vocal reinforcement where a compact microphone is required
• Mounted use on musical instruments or small stage stands
• Portable setups requiring a lightweight, discreet microphone

Key specifications

• Sensitivity: 35 dB
• Frequency response: 20 Hz – 20 kHz
• Impedance: 200 Ω
• Connectivity: Wired
• Device interface: mini XLR (3-pin)
• Weight: 30 g

How to use

Connect the AKG C544 L to a compatible preamplifier or mixing console using the mini XLR (3-pin) cable and secure the microphone to an instrument mount or stand as required. Position the capsule close to the sound source for direct capture of the instrument or vocalist, adjusting angle and distance to balance tonal characteristics and avoid unwanted proximity effect. Use appropriate gain staging at the preamp to achieve a clean signal without clipping.

Recommendations

For consistent live performance results, place the microphone 5–20 cm from the instrument or vocalist and check gain levels during soundcheck. When mounting on instruments, use a secure clip or mount designed for lightweight microphones to prevent movement and minimize handling noise.
