Ořezávátko Staedtler 510 20 PR2

The Staedtler 510 20 PR2 pencil sharpener is a compact, precision tool manufactured in Germany for consistent sharpening of wood-cased pencils. Designed for everyday use at home, school or in the office, this manual sharpener produces a fine, even point while minimizing wood and lead breakage. Its sturdy construction and simple mechanism deliver reliable performance for graphite and coloured pencils of standard diameters.

Advantages

The design combines durability and ease of use: a hardened blade and robust housing provide long service life, while the ergonomic turning action requires little effort. The sharpener’s compact dimensions make it easy to carry in a pencil case or store on a desk. Its sharpening result is precise and repeatable, suitable for detailed writing and drawing tasks.

Suitable for

• Sharpening standard graphite pencils for writing and sketching
• Preparing coloured pencils for illustration and colouring work
• Use in classrooms, offices, studios and at home
• Portable use in pencil cases, backpacks or desk drawers

Key specifications

• Type: manual single-hole pencil sharpener
• Blade: hardened steel for durable cutting performance
• Body: compact, rigid housing intended for regular use
• Output: fine, consistent pencil point suitable for writing and drawing
• Compatibility: standard-diameter wood-cased pencils (graphite and coloured pencils)
• Origin: manufactured in Germany

How to use

Insert the pencil gently into the sharpening hole and rotate the pencil while holding the sharpener steady, or rotate the sharpener around the pencil for greater control. Apply light, even pressure and remove the pencil periodically to check the point. Stop sharpening once the desired tip is achieved to avoid over-sharpening or breakage. Empty any shavings from the housing as needed to maintain efficient operation.

Recommendations

For best results, use pencils of standard wooden construction and avoid forcing oversized or mechanical pencils into the hole. Regularly clean or replace the blade if performance declines, and store the sharpener away from moisture to preserve the housing and blade condition.
