Optický konektor SC Equip, jednovidový duplex

The Equip SC Fiber Optic Coupler is a compact SC single-mode duplex adapter designed to join two fiber patch cables securely. Constructed for installation in patch panels or frames, the coupler comes in blue and is supplied in packs of 12 pieces. Its dust-free cap protects the connection interface from contamination and helps maintain long-term performance in fiber optic networks.

Advantages

The coupler provides a stable mechanical connection between two SC single-mode duplex cables and is suitable for mounting on standard patch panels. Its compact dimensions (34.7 mm × 9.4 mm × 33 mm) and lightweight design simplify bulk installations. The included dust cap reduces exposure to dirt and debris, supporting signal integrity and connector longevity.

Suitable for

• Joining two SC single-mode duplex fiber patch cables
• Mounting in patch panels and fiber distribution frames
• Bulk installations requiring multiple couplers (pack of 12)

How to use

Install the coupler into the appropriate slot of a patch panel or fiber distribution frame. Remove the dust caps from the SC connector ends, insert the SC connectors of the two patch cables into each side of the coupler until they click into place, and secure the assembly in the panel if required. Replace the dust cap on unused ends to prevent contamination.

Recommendations

Handle SC connectors by their bodies and avoid touching the ferrule. Clean connector endfaces before mating and store unused couplers or open ends with dust caps in place. Use the coupler in environments within the specified cabling system limits to ensure reliable single-mode duplex performance.
