Mikrofon Thronmax M20 Streaming Kit

The Thronmax M20 Streaming Kit is a condenser microphone package designed for streaming, podcasting, voice-over and home recording. The microphone uses a cardioid pickup pattern to prioritize sound from the front and reduce ambient noise from the sides and rear. The kit includes a shock mount, pop filter and an adjustable boom arm to simplify setup and secure optimal microphone placement for consistent, clear audio capture.

Advantages

The cardioid polar pattern provides focused capture of the speaker’s voice while limiting background noise, improving speech intelligibility during streams and recordings. The included shock mount reduces handling and desk vibrations that can be transferred to the mic capsule. The pop filter mitigates plosive sounds for smoother vocal recordings. The adjustable boom arm allows precise positioning and easy repositioning without interrupting the workflow, and the condenser capsule gives a wider frequency response suitable for detailed vocal reproduction.

Suitable for

• Live streaming on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube
• Podcast recording and remote interviews
• Voice-over work and narration
• Gaming with clear voice communication
• Home studio recording and content creation

Key specifications

• Microphone type: condenser
• Pickup pattern: cardioid
• Included accessories: shock mount, pop filter, adjustable boom arm
• Mounting: desk boom arm with clamp
• Typical application: streaming, podcasting, voice recording

How to use

Mount the shock mount on the boom arm and attach the microphone securely into the shock mount. Clamp the boom arm to the desktop and adjust arm angles to position the microphone roughly 15–30 cm from the speaker’s mouth, slightly off-axis to reduce plosives. Place the pop filter between the mouth and microphone capsule to further control plosive sounds. Connect the microphone according to its interface requirements and set input levels in your recording or streaming software, monitoring for clear signal without clipping. Adjust gain, distance and angle as needed to obtain the desired tonal balance and clarity.

Recommendations

For best results, record in a quiet room with some soft furnishings to reduce reflections. Use a moderate gain setting to avoid background noise amplification and position the microphone slightly off-axis to minimize sibilance and plosives. Regularly check mount tightness and cable connections before long sessions.
