Leštička MAKITA GV5010 440W 125mm

The MAKITA GV5010 440W 125mm polisher is a compact electric tool designed for controlled polishing and surface finishing. With a 440-watt motor and a 125 mm backing pad diameter, it is intended for tasks that require consistent rotational speed and steady handling. The polisher's lightweight design and ergonomic body help reduce operator fatigue during extended use, while its construction supports work on painted, lacquered, and metal surfaces where smooth, uniform results are required.

Advantages

The polisher combines a mid-range motor power with a small 125 mm pad, providing a balance between working control and finishing capability. Its compact size improves accessibility in tight areas and along edges. Low weight and an ergonomic grip support comfortable operation and better maneuverability. The tool is suitable for precise finishing tasks where a larger polisher would be less practical.

Suitable for

• Polishing small to medium-sized painted surfaces and automotive panels
• Removing light oxidation and fine scratches from metal and painted finishes
• Final finishing and buffing of lacquered furniture and cabinetry
• Detail work in workshops, bodyshops, and DIY restoration projects

Key specifications

• Motor power: 440 W
• Backing pad diameter: 125 mm
• Tool type: electric rotary polisher
• Intended use: surface polishing and finishing
• Design: lightweight, compact housing for improved handling

How to use

Before use, fit a compatible 125 mm polishing pad and secure it to the backing pad. Connect the polisher to a suitable mains supply and select an appropriate polishing compound for the surface. Hold the tool with a firm two-handed grip, start at low speed if variable speed is available, and apply light, even pressure while moving the polisher in overlapping passes. Avoid concentrating on a single spot for long periods to prevent heat buildup or surface damage. After polishing, wipe the surface with a clean microfiber cloth to remove residue.

Recommendations

Use polishing pads and compounds that match the surface material and the desired finish. For automotive paint, begin with a fine cutting compound for light defects and finish with a swirl-removal or gloss-enhancing polish. Maintain steady motion and moderate pressure; allow the tool and pad to do the work. Wear appropriate eye and respiratory protection when working with compounds and dust.
