HPE BROADCOM MR PCI SPDM řadič

For ProLiant Gen10 Plus environments demanding uncompromising storage performance and security, the HPE Broadcom MR PCI SPDM Controller P47951-001 stands apart with its tri-mode flexibility and hardware-rooted trust. Built around the Broadcom MegaRAID SAS3916 processor, this PCIe 4.0 x16 card unifies SAS, SATA, and NVMe connectivity, eliminating the need for multiple adapters while delivering up to 12Gb/s SAS and Gen4 NVMe speeds. Its 8GB flash-backed cache protects data integrity during power loss, and integrated SPDM support enables secure attestation—a critical advantage for zero-trust infrastructures.

Highlights

• Tri-mode support: SAS, SATA, and NVMe drives on a single controller
• PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface for maximum bandwidth
• 8GB DDR4 flash-backed write cache (FBWC) for data protection
• Broadcom MegaRAID Tri-Mode SAS3916 processor
• SPDM security for device attestation and firmware validation
• Supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, and JBOD
• Up to 16 internal drives via four SFF-8654 SlimSAS x4 connectors
• Compatible with HPE ProLiant Gen10 Plus servers

In daily use

Deploying this controller in a ProLiant Gen10 Plus server gives administrators the freedom to mix drive types without sacrificing performance or reliability. The 8GB cache accelerates write-intensive workloads, while the flash backup ensures cached data survives unexpected power loss. HPE MR Storage Administrator and iLO integration simplify monitoring and configuration, and the SPDM capability adds a hardware-level security layer that verifies component authenticity—essential for regulated industries or edge deployments.
